About Dan Aiello

Dan Aiello is a multi-jurisdictional trial attorney admitted in both New York and Connecticut. He received his J.D. from the University at Buffalo Law School in 2010. He began his career representing insurance companies on the defense side before switching to plaintiff work, and he uses that defense background to anticipate insurer tactics and prepare cases for trial from the start.

He has been named a New York Super Lawyer in 2025 and 2026, a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2024, and is a member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40. Per TopVerdict, he has obtained a Top 100 Personal Injury Settlement, a Top 50 Personal Injury Settlement, and a Top 50 Premises Liability Settlement in New York. Outside the law, he is a United States Coast Guard-licensed captain and a U.S. patent holder.
