About James Trummell

James A. 'Jim' Trummell is a Trial Attorney at Valiente Mott Injury Attorneys, joining the firm's litigation team in May 2021. He drafts pleadings, oversees pre-trial discovery, takes and defends depositions, appears in court, prepares witnesses, and takes cases to trial.

Before joining Valiente Mott, Trummell served as a trial attorney for one of Nevada's most successful and well-known civil litigation firms. He was named a Vegas Inc. Top Lawyer in 2020 and a 2021 Mountain States Rising Star Personal Injury Attorney by SuperLawyers.

A Nevada native born and raised in small rural towns across the state, Trummell graduated from Pahrump Valley High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Injury Management and Master of Science in Physical Therapy from UNLV, working as a Physical Therapist for 14 years before law school. He holds licenses to practice law in Nevada and Oklahoma and still maintains a Nevada physical therapy license.
