Louis Yosha

Louis 'Buddy' Yosha is the founder of Yosha Law, Injury & Accident Lawyers in Indianapolis, Indiana, a firm he established in 1963. With more than six decades of trial experience, he has built a nationwide reputation for personal injury, civil, and corporate litigation, prevailing against corporate giants in insurance and other industries.

Yosha is the only Indiana trial lawyer listed in every edition of The Best Lawyers in America since its inception in 1983 (40+ consecutive years), placing him in the top 5% for personal injury litigation. He carries the highest possible Martindale-Hubbell AV rating. Other recognitions include Indianapolis Monthly's Best Civil Litigator (1986), Indiana's Best Lawyers Best Personal Injury Litigation Attorney (1997), the American Registry's top 5% award (2011), and the Res Gestae Award for best article (1984).

A lifelong Indianapolis resident born in 1937, Yosha graduated from Shortridge High School and attended the University of Alabama and Indiana University for undergraduate study, and the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and Indiana University for law school. He is the author of Indiana Automobile Torts Digest and dozens of national articles and textbook chapters. The firm operates offices in Indianapolis (two), South Bend, and Fort Wayne.
