About Andy Birchfield

Andy Birchfield joined Beasley Allen in 1996 and has led the firm's Mass Torts Section into nationally recognized prominence. He is a leading force in the litigation against Johnson and Johnson over the link between talcum powder and ovarian cancer, having been instrumental in securing over $2.9 billion in verdicts in those cases. He is also co-lead counsel in the national acetaminophen autism/ADHD MDL. Andy graduated cum laude from Samford University in 1988 and magna cum laude from Faulkner University's Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 1992. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, serves on the Alabama State Bar Committee for Character and Fitness, and has served as president of the Montgomery County Young Lawyers and the Alabama Young Lawyers.
