Richard Villanova

Richard J. Villanova is a partner at Blume Forte and is Certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court. He joined the firm as a partner in 2017. Before attending law school, he worked full-time as a claims adjuster for the firm, which informed his understanding of insurance defense strategy. He attended New York Law School while continuing in that role and received his J.D. in 2002.

He passed the New Jersey bar and transitioned to litigation at Blume Forte as an associate. In 2013 he secured settlements exceeding $2.3 million for clients, and in 2015 he secured settlements exceeding $2.8 million. He was designated a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2014 for Plaintiffs' Personal Injury. He has served as the 128th President of the Hudson County Bar Association.
