Michael Balangue

Michael Balangue, Esq. is an Equity Partner at Campione Law P.A. who handles all aspects of the firm's litigation. Described as a tough but approachable attorney who is always ready for battle, he has expertise in criminal defense, personal injury, and civil litigation. He joined Campione Law in January 2019 after serving as a Public Defender in Palm Beach County.

A lifelong Jacksonville resident, Balangue enjoys beach activities, local dining, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and family time.

He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida's Fredric G. Levin College of Law and completed his first year of law school at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, where he ranked in the top 10% of his class, was a Merit Scholarship recipient, was named to the Dean's Scholars List, and received the Book Award for the highest grade in Torts. During law school he participated in the Virgil Hawkins Mediation Clinic, the Criminal Law Association, and the American Constitution Society; interned at the Public Defender's Office in Duval County; and worked as a legal clerk for a personal injury firm in Gainesville. He is admitted to the Florida Bar.
