About Joshua Moore
Joshua D. Moore is a partner at Clement, Van Ronzelen & Schulte LLC. He earned a B.S. from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2005 and a J.D. cum laude from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2012. He has been admitted to the Missouri Bar since 2012 and to the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri since 2014. Josh's practice covers motor vehicle negligence, slip and fall and trip and fall cases, nursing home abuse and neglect, insurance disputes, breach of contract, and real estate disputes. He served as counsel of record alongside partner Matthew Clement in Anderson, Draeger and Gunther v. Monsanto Company, a Roundup products liability trial that resulted in a combined verdict of $1.5612 billion later affirmed on appeal at approximately $611 million. He is listed on briefs in two Missouri appellate opinions, The Central Trust Bank v. Graves, 495 S.W.3d 797 (Mo.
App. W.D. 2016), and Ellison v. Fry, 437 S.W.3d 762 (Mo. banc 2014). He is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Cole County Bar Association, and the Boone County Bar Association.
Proven verdicts and settlements
A Cole County jury awarded Ronette Schulte $500,000 after the driver of a charter bus carrying her church's youth group fell asleep at the wheel and crashed in 2022. Schulte, an adult chaperone, suffered a nasal injury that left her unable to breathe through her nose for about eight months, reinjured a shoulder that had recently been through rotator cuff surgery, and came away with acute stress disorder from watching the children in her care thrown around the bus. The verdict was returned on April 23, 2025, before Judge Cotton Walker. Cavalier Coaches, Inc. did not dispute that its driver fell asleep, but argued at trial that Schulte's injuries beyond the nasal injury were not caused by the crash.
