About Matthew Posgay

Matthew Posgay is a shareholder at Coker Law in Jacksonville, Florida, with over 30 years of trial experience. Posgay earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1994 and his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida in 1991. Before joining Coker Law, he was a shareholder and managing partner of the Jacksonville office of a statewide insurance defense firm, giving him deep insight into defense strategy.

He has been recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer every year since 2010 and named a Top 100 Lawyer in Florida and Top 25 in Jacksonville since 2020. He is a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers, a Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyer, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
