John Kralovec

John B. Kralovec is Of Counsel at Conboy Law Injury and Medical Malpractice Lawyers in Chicago. He earned his B.S. from the University of Illinois in 1978 and his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1981. He has concentrated his practice on medical negligence and personal injury for more than 40 years and has secured hundreds of millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for clients throughout Illinois. Among his most notable results, he obtained a $51 million compensatory verdict on behalf of a client who was rendered quadriplegic in a collision with a dump truck, which stands as the highest Illinois compensatory verdict for a living personal injury plaintiff. He also obtained a $12,508,098 verdict on behalf of the family of a 12-year-old child who drowned after a home care nurse left the severely disabled child unattended in a bathtub, which was an Illinois record for the death of a child at the time.

He co-tried the $45.3 million verdict in Butts v. Joo while at Kralovec Jambois and Schwartz. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has been selected to Super Lawyers continuously since 2005. He holds an AV Preeminent peer review rating of 5.0 from Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by Leading Lawyers as among the top 5 percent of Illinois attorneys.
