About Michael Salasky

Michael B. Salasky serves Of Counsel at Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers in Virginia. He has built a successful personal injury practice over 40 years, representing countless people who were needlessly hurt through no fault of their own.

A Norfolk native, Salasky was born and raised in Norfolk and attended Norfolk Academy. He graduated from Tufts University in Boston with a B.A. in English and received his law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1977.

Before his current role, he worked as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Norfolk for several years, prosecuting all varieties of criminal cases, from traffic matters to murder cases. After a two-year stint as an associate in private practice, he opened his own law office in 1982.

He is admitted to the Virginia State Bar.

Over his career, Salasky has participated in the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association. He has served as a judge on City of Norfolk grievance panels and served local civic organizations.
