R. Akira Watson

R. Akira Watson is an Associate Attorney in the Class Action Practice Group at Cory Watson Attorneys in Birmingham, Alabama, focusing on environmental litigation, particularly PFAS chemical contamination cases affecting water supplies.

Watson earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as Best Senior Editor of the Alabama Law Review. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. She is admitted to the Alabama State Bar and to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Alabama, the Northern District of Georgia, and the District of South Carolina.
