Cori Kapusta

Cori J. Kapusta is a Partner and the Managing Attorney of the Pittsburgh office of Dean Omar Branham Shirley, LLP. She earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1999 and her law degree from Duquesne University School of Law in 2003. Kapusta has practiced asbestos exposure litigation for more than 20 years, representing clients with mesothelioma and asbestos-related lung cancer. She began her career at Goldberg, Persky and White P.C. in Pittsburgh in 2004, became a shareholder there in 2013, co-founded Kapusta and Schweers in 2018, and joined DOBS in 2023. She is admitted in Pennsylvania. Her professional recognition includes Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers (2026), Super Lawyer (2023 through 2025), National Trial Lawyers Top 100 (2017 through 2019), and National Trial Attorney Under 40 (2016).
