About Scott Arthur

Scott A. Arthur (Florida Bar No. 15889) joined Diaco Law as a partner in 2020. A first cousin of Joseph and Daniel Diaco, he graduated as class valedictorian from Largo High School in Pinellas County. He earned his B.A. with honors from the University of Florida and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. Before joining Diaco Law, Mr. Arthur was a shareholder at Gunn Law Group, P.A., where he focused on representing policyholders and injured parties in claims against insurance companies, including disputed coverage and bad faith matters.

He has been named by Florida Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in insurance coverage for multiple years and as a Super Lawyer in that specialty, and holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Arthur has jury trial and appellate experience in both state and federal courts throughout Florida and has litigated hundreds of personal injury and insurance cases on behalf of injured victims and policyholders denied fair compensation. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in all federal district courts in Florida.
