About Richard Marhefka

Richard Marhefka has represented injury victims in the Pittsburgh area and throughout Western Pennsylvania for nearly 30 years. His legal career began in 1996. He earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, and his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in Lansing, Michigan. He is licensed before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He combines zealous advocacy with empathy and compassion, and is active in his community through civic engagement, advising local businesses, directing nonprofits, and supporting his church's homeless project to provide food and winter clothing to unhoused individuals in Pittsburgh.
