About Brian Flaherty

Brian Martin Flaherty is among the most senior attorneys at Farah & Farah's Jacksonville, Florida office, having been with the firm since its early growth from a small operation into one of the largest law firms in the Southeast. He focuses on motor vehicle and commercial trucking collisions and has substantial courtroom experience.

Flaherty began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney, prosecuting drug crimes and sexual assault cases. He later represented the City of Jacksonville and worked in the General Counsel's office of the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department before joining Farah & Farah.

Among his notable results: a $3.4 million jury verdict on behalf of a client who was injured when a pleasure boat collided with a barge under Blanding Bridge — a verdict that was upheld on appeal at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta.

Flaherty is admitted to The Florida Bar.
