About Markel Guidry
Markel is a native of Palmetto, Louisiana. He graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Journalism, and graduated from the LSU Law Center in 2016. During his time in law school, Markel was a member of the John R. Brown National Admiralty Law Moot Court team.
He also participated in the mediation clinic where he helped resolve conflicts in a variety of disputes. Markel practiced personal injury law in the Baton Rouge area for five years before joining Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys, and has represented plaintiffs in hundreds of automotive, slip-and-fall, and premise liability cases. In his spare time, Markel enjoys reading, yoga, comedy, and jiu jitsu.
