R. Clay Kimbrough joined Goudarzi & Young in 2021. He attended Texas A&M University as a member of the Corps of Cadets and the Ross Volunteers, graduating from the Mays Business School in 2007, then received his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2010, where he was a member of the Board of Barristers.

For over a decade he served as an assistant district attorney in Lubbock, Brazos, and Smith Counties, advocating for victims of violent crime, and he has tried more than 100 jury trials in courtrooms across Texas. Four generations of his family have served their communities in courtrooms in Gilmer, Lockhart, and across the state.
