Brendan Matthews

Brendan P. Matthews is a supervising attorney at Groth Law Firm, S.C., focused on personal injury and civil litigation matters in Wisconsin.

Matthews earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2009 and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont in Burlington in 2005. He is admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin.

During law school, Matthews served on the Moot Court Board, where he was named Best Oralist, and competed at the National Entertainment Law Competition in Malibu, California. He interned with the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission, clerked for two years at the Madison firm of Gingras, Cates & Luebke, S.C., and worked at the Sheboygan County District Attorney's Office under the Supreme Court's Student Practice Rule. His honors include selection as one of the Top 25 Attorneys of Wisconsin for 2024 by Attorney Intel.
