About Jason Zapf

Zapf earned his Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, where he was a member of the Incorporated Society of Irish American Lawyers and worked with the Innocence Project assisting with DNA evidence cases. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Carthage College. He is admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin.

Before joining Gruber Law, Zapf served the Kenosha County District Attorney's Office as an intern, Special Prosecutor, and Assistant District Attorney, handling thousands of cases including traffic, domestic abuse, child abuse, drugs, sexual assault, and homicide. He served as lead prosecutor on a joint state-federal drug task force targeting heroin trafficking. He represents the third generation of his family to serve in Kenosha-area law enforcement and was born and raised in Kenosha.
