Nicholas Petty

Nicholas Petty is an attorney at Gruber Law Offices, LLC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he has practiced since 2013. With approximately 20 years of civil litigation and trial experience, he specializes in serious personal injury and wrongful death cases and has successfully handled catastrophic injury matters and cases on appeal.

Petty earned his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2003, where he competed in the Evan A. Evans Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition and was a member of the Public Interest Law, International Law, and Environmental Law Societies. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999. He is admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin (2003) and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin (2005).

Petty spent his first decade in practice with a prominent Milwaukee trial attorney before joining Gruber Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Bar Association, and the Wisconsin Association for Justice, and serves on the Board of Directors of Highland Community School. He volunteers as an attorney for Wills for Heroes, Legal Action of Wisconsin, and Election Protection. His honors include Wisconsin Super Lawyers Rising Stars (2009-2016) and Wisconsin Super Lawyers (2017-2023).
