Lee Coleman

Lee Coleman is a Personal Injury Attorney, Managing Partner, and Co-Founder of Hughes & Coleman Injury Lawyers, with over 30 years of legal experience.

Coleman earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville College of Law in 1981 and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky in 1978. He is admitted to practice in Kentucky, Tennessee, New Mexico, and Ohio.

Coleman co-founded Hughes & Coleman in 1985 with J. Marshall Hughes; the firm now has more than 30 attorneys across 10 offices in Kentucky and Tennessee plus an affiliated practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He began as a prosecutor in the Warren County Attorney's office in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where he tried approximately 50 jury trials. He has tried at least 20 cases to jury verdict for injury victims and successfully defended the firm's use of the term 'Injury Lawyers' before the Kentucky Supreme Court in 2001. His honors include Kentucky Super Lawyer in Personal Injury (since 2012), AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and Million Dollar Advocates Forum membership.
