Andrew Fischer

Andrew Fischer is Of Counsel at Jeffrey Glassman Injury Lawyers in Boston, with more than four decades of legal experience. A passionate advocate for consumer rights, bicyclists, and small business owners, he has extensive experience in personal injury litigation, civil rights cases, and contract disputes.

Fischer was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 1980. He earned his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 1980 and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania in 1971. His notable cases include cyclist-rights matters (Damon v. Hukowicz, Kopacz v. Wosny, Rowinsky v. Massachusetts State Police), civil rights litigation (Chao v. Ballista et al.), and landmark appellate decisions on police liability and consumer protection.

Fischer has been honored by the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild for his role in the Occupy defense team, chairs the Leonard Weinglass In Defense of Civil Liberties Award Committee, and is certified as an Advocate by the American Trial Lawyers Association.
