About Griffin Albaugh
Griffin Albaugh is an attorney at Ketchmark & McCreight, P.C. who began his legal career at a large corporate defense firm representing Fortune 500 companies and publicly traded corporations. That defense-side experience gave him a detailed understanding of how corporations build litigation strategy, which he now uses to benefit injured plaintiffs. Since joining the firm, he has tried multiple million-dollar cases to verdict and managed those verdicts through the appellate process. He graduated Order of the Coif from the University of Kansas School of Law and served on the Kansas Law Review Executive Board, where he published work covering product liability, consumer rights, and civil procedure. He has appeared in county and federal courtrooms across the region.
Proven verdicts and settlements
A Monroe County jury awarded $58.6 million, including $56.6 million in punitive damages, to James Graham, a Hannibal food plant worker who developed the irreversible lung disease bronchiolitis obliterans after years of exposure to Givaudan butter flavoring chemicals. The Missouri Court of Appeals affirmed the judgment in full in April 2026.
