About Paul Dickinson

Paul R. Dickinson, Jr. is a Partner at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, with more than 30 years of legal experience inside and outside the courtroom. He joined the firm as a partner in 2023 and brings extensive litigation expertise.

Dickinson earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida and his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston in 1990, the same year he was admitted to legal practice.

Before joining Farrin, he worked as a Litigation Attorney at DeMayo Law Offices (personal injury) and as a Partner at Lewis & Roberts (business and financial litigation, personal injury, construction law, workers' compensation). He has handled cases in more than a dozen practice areas, including the famous Blackwater Massacre case, in which he represented civilian victims and families.

Dickinson holds Martindale-Hubbell's highest peer-review rating (AV Preeminent) and has been selected to the North Carolina Super Lawyers list in 2012 and from 2017 to 2019.
