About Philip Weinstein

Philip M. Weinstein is an Of Counsel attorney with Marasco & Nesselbush's personal injury and medical negligence practice group. Throughout his distinguished legal career, Philip has successfully represented hundreds of clients in civil litigation, personal injury law, and medical malpractice. Among his notable cases is Dipetrillo v. Dow Chemical, which opened the nation's courtrooms to Vietnam War veterans and others harmed by chemical defoliants such as Agent Orange. He also litigated Bibeault v. Hanover Insurance Company, a case that established precedent enabling an insured to bring a bad faith claim against an insurer for its handling of an uninsured motorist claim.

Philip graduated from Boston University in 1965 and from Howard University School of Law in 1968. He is admitted to the practice of law in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and the federal courts with jurisdiction over both states. Philip has served on the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice and is a past President of the Rhode Island Bar Association for Justice.
