About Seth Guess

Seth A. Guess, a native Memphian, obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Memphis, graduating summa cum laude. He also minored in political science and Spanish. During undergrad, he spent a semester as a legislative intern in the Tennessee Senate in Nashville. Seeing first-hand how state government operates provided an excellent opportunity to understand how laws affect ordinary people, including those that have been injured by others' negligence. Mr. Guess earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.

Mr. Guess is admitted to practice law in Tennessee, and he is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. Additionally, Mr. Guess is licensed to practice law in Mississippi. In law school, he was chosen by his classmates to serve as the Associate Chief Justice of the inaugural Honor Council. He also participated in the Elder Law Clinic where he had the privilege of helping an indigent client with several legal issues, including researching and initiating the process to having his voting rights restored.

Prior to joining NST Law, Mr. Guess was an attorney at an immigration law firm. He worked with clients who came from all across the world to achieve their goal of becoming lawful permanent residents and citizens.
