Carolyn Afari

Carolyn M. Afari is a Personal Injury Attorney at Omega Law Group. She focuses her practice on auto accidents, slip and falls, trucking accidents, and premises liability cases.

Prior to joining Omega Law Group, Afari practiced bankruptcy law and civil litigation for over a decade, focusing on Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases, Adversary Proceeding cases, and creditor rights work. She represented high net worth individuals and corporate Chapter 11 debtors, confirming successful reorganization plans discharging hundreds of millions of dollars of debt.

Afari earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2012 and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Eastern Districts of California.

She co-authored A Summary of the Law of Business Organizations (2015) and served as adjunct professor at University of West Los Angeles School of Law teaching Legal Research and Writing.

She is fluent in Farsi with conversational Spanish.
