About Adam Stirrup
Adam B. Stirrup was born and raised in Fresno, California. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (2003) and a Master of Arts in International Relations (2005), both from California State University, Fresno. He then earned his Juris Doctorate with Distinction from San Joaquin College of Law in 2008, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the San Joaquin Agricultural Law Review and was honored as Best Oral Advocate and Best Brief Finalist in the George A. Hopper Moot Court Competition. He began his legal career at McCormick Barstow in 2008 and joined Paboojian & Bell, Inc. in 2013.
Mr. Stirrup is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in California. He primarily handles civil and commercial litigation, including plaintiff's personal injury, wrongful death, business torts, UM/UIM, insurance bad faith, products liability, and wrongful termination. In 2021, he obtained (as co-counsel) the Number 1 Professional Malpractice Verdict in the United States in Merlo v. American Ambulance.
In 2026, he was recognized as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Northern California by Super Lawyers. He has been a Northern California Super Lawyer annually since 2021 and holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is a past president of the Central Valley Trial Lawyers Association, the Fresno County Bar Association, the Kings County Bar Association, and the Fresno State Alumni Association.
