About Chancie Coomer

Chancie Coomer was born and raised in Little Rock and graduated from Bryant High School before earning her bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Central Arkansas. She then obtained her J.D. from the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law. She held several positions at Rainwater, Holt & Sexton as an office assistant and law clerk during and after her undergraduate years, mentored by the late Stephen Holt. After law school she practiced civil litigation and tax law in Idaho, then returned to Arkansas personal injury work in 2020 and rejoined Rainwater, Holt & Sexton in 2023. Her own family's experience after being struck by a drunk driver in 2003 gives her a personal understanding of what injured clients endure.
