About Steve Abed

Steve Abed was born in Philadelphia and raised in New Jersey. He attended Rutgers University and moved to Arkansas in 1990 to attend the Bowen School of Law in Little Rock, earning his J.D. in 1993. He has practiced in both criminal and civil law for over 25 years, including stints as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and Deputy Public Defender in Pulaski County, as well as personal injury work at Gary Holt & Associates. He also worked at the Arkansas Department of Transportation before joining Rainwater, Holt & Sexton in 2022. He has tried over 75 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials. He is licensed to practice law in Texas; his Arkansas and Pennsylvania licenses are currently inactive.
