About Handel Edwards

Handel M. Edwards II is an attorney at Steinger, Greene & Feiner in South Florida. His practice focuses on personal injury litigation, representing individuals and families who have been injured or died as a result of the negligence of others. He handles depositions, motions, and settlement negotiations.

Before joining Steinger, Greene & Feiner, Edwards held positions with the NYC Law Department's Civil Litigation Division, an Indianapolis insurance defense firm, the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Litigation Division, and a boutique personal injury firm.

He earned a B.S. in Political Science and a B.A. in Philosophy and Law with honors from The City University of New York (CUNY), Brooklyn College, and his Juris Doctor with honors from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he was a member of the Indiana Journal of Law & Social Equality.

He is admitted to the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Edwards is a member of the Florida Justice Association, the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association, the J. Reddick Bar Association, the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Association, the Jamaican American Bar Association, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
