About Chris Leavitt

Chris Leavitt received his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Texas in 2002 and is a 2005 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center. During law school, he completed clerkships for the Harris County District Attorney, The Buzbee Law Firm, and the Honorable Lynn H. Hughes, United States District Judge, Southern District of Texas. Chris handles personal injury and wrongful death matters, defends one of the largest grocery store chains in Texas, and is involved in several of the firm's largest commercial litigation cases.

He has represented hundreds of Jones Act seamen, small businesses, industrial workers, and policyholders in first-party insurance cases, and frequently represents clients in suits against dredging contractors across the United States. Chris is particularly focused on representing churches and children injured by others' negligence. He is licensed to practice in Texas.
