Rob Ammons

Robert E. Ammons is the founding partner of The Ammons Law Firm. He earned his B.A. from Baylor University and his J.D. cum laude from Baylor University School of Law in 1988, where he was Editor of the Baylor Law Review, then served as a Briefing Attorney for the Texas Supreme Court. Rob has represented consumers in product liability litigation since 1991, concentrating on tire and automotive defect cases against manufacturers, automakers, and tire retailers.

He is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Rob has served as lead counsel in over 430 cases resulting in a verdict or settlement of $1 million or more, including a $1.6 billion verdict in Starr County for two families who lost loved ones in a chemical plant explosion, an $82.5 million verdict in Petrie v. Hanover that is included in the Texas Verdict Hall of Fame, and a $49 million verdict in Ector County for the family of a man killed in an 18-wheeler crash. He edited the treatise Tire Defect Litigation and writes frequently for Trial Magazine and the Texas Bar Journal.
