About Richard Storm

Richard Storm is a Senior Attorney at Law Giant Injury Lawyers (Begum Law Group), where he has practiced since March 2014. With more than 31 years of legal experience, he has served as lead counsel in more than 150 jury trials across 50+ Texas counties and represented thousands of clients.

Storm earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law in 1992 and his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Texas A&M University in 1987. He has completed additional training including the National Institute for Trial Advocacy Essentials Course (May 2003) and Advanced Experts Course (May 2004), the Allstate Emerging Managers Course (2005), 360 Advocacy Auto Crash Litigation (2017), and Mark Lanier Academy 8 (2017-2024). He is admitted to the State Bar of Texas with Life Fellow status.

Storm previously practiced at Storm Law Firm (1993-1997), as a Litigation Attorney at Carabin, Shaw & Johnson (1997-2000), as Staff Counsel at USAA (2000-2001), as a Senior Trial Attorney at Allstate Insurance (2001-2006), and as Managing Attorney at Davis Law Firm (2006-2014).

He is a member of the Texas Bar Association, the San Antonio Bar Foundation, the Federal Bar Association, the San Antonio Bar Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the American Board of Trial Advocates. His honors include the 2024 Sustainment Award, the 2017 Swiss Army Knife Award, and multiple Allstate recognitions (2003-2007).
