About Stephanie Cassman

Stephanie L. Cassman is a Partner at Wagner Reese, LLP in Carmel, Indiana, with more than 20 years of experience as a trial advocate. She was named Indiana Defense Lawyer of the Year (2015) and has been recognized as a Top 50 Attorney and Top 25 Woman by Indiana Super Lawyers from 2016 through 2023. She is a Distinguished Fellow of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation.

Cassman earned her J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis and her undergraduate degree from Indiana University, Bloomington. She is admitted to practice in Indiana state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

She served as Chair of the Indianapolis Bar Association's Litigation Section in 2011 and as Vice President of the Board of Directors in 2015, and serves on the faculty of the Trial Advocacy Skills College. She is a frequent speaker and author on jury selection and trial advocacy.
