Disha Roy

Disha Roy was born in Houston and earned her B.A. from the University of Texas San Antonio before graduating early from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2012. She has over 10 years of civil litigation experience, beginning in employment and tax law before discovering her passion for personal injury. Disha first worked at Abraham Watkins from 2014, handling catastrophic injury cases involving chemical plant explosions, trucking accidents, and product defects. She later ran her own practice and served as general counsel for companies with revenues up to $500 million.

In 2018, a settlement she obtained was named one of the top 50 settlements in Texas. She is now back at Abraham Watkins as Of Counsel. Disha is also a certified Indian classical dancer in Kuchipudi and speaks English, Bengali, and Spanish.
