Kimberley (Kim) Spurlock was born in Houston and raised in Humble, Texas. She earned a degree in Sociology with a minor in Business from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997 and graduated cum laude from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2001, ranking 13th in a class of over 240 graduates.
