About Jere Beasley

Jere Beasley is the founder of Beasley Allen. In 1979, after serving as Alabama's lieutenant governor, he established the firm, which has represented hundreds of thousands of people over more than four decades. Born in 1935 in Tyler, Texas and raised in Clayton, Alabama, he earned his Bachelor of Science from Auburn University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1962. For over 45 years, Jere and Beasley Allen have litigated landmark cases that have resulted in safety recalls, improved regulations, and major settlements. He has been consistently named to The Best Lawyers in America for Mass Tort and Personal Injury litigation and is recognized as one of the most influential figures in American civil litigation.
