About Bradford Blackmon

Bradford Blackmon joined Blackmon & Blackmon PLLC after earning his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law and being admitted to practice in Mississippi in 2014. Growing up in a family of attorneys gave him an early understanding of the legal profession and the responsibility that comes with representing clients during important moments in their lives. Today, he has the unique opportunity to practice alongside his parents, Edward Blackmon, Jr. and Barbara Blackmon, while developing his own record of litigation success. Bradford Blackmon's practice focuses on personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, and corporate defense litigation. Since joining the firm, he has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil matters involving significant financial and legal stakes.

His litigation experience includes successful defense outcomes for major corporate clients as well as securing a multi-million-dollar jury verdict in Hinds County. Before entering the legal profession, Bradford Blackmon distinguished himself as an accomplished student-athlete at St. Andrew's Episcopal School and at the University of Pennsylvania, where he helped lead the football team to two Ivy League championships and served as a team captain during his senior season. In 2023, he ran unopposed for the Mississippi State Senate, taking office in January 2024 and representing Madison, Holmes, Attala and Leake Counties. He also serves as City Prosecutor for the City of Magnolia.
