About Rufus Pennington

C. Rufus Pennington, III is Of Counsel at Coker Law in Jacksonville, Florida, with over 40 years of experience as a board-certified civil trial attorney. He has served as trial counsel in litigation throughout the country in both state and federal courts, devoting his practice exclusively to professional liability and personal injury.

Pennington earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Florida in 1981, where he served as Editor of the University of Florida Law Review. He graduated cum laude from Duke University in 1978 with a B.A. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the 11th Circuit and D.C.
