Benjamin Cooper

C. Benjamin "Ben" Cooper, Esq. is a Columbus-based Trial and Appellate Lawyer at Cooper Elliott who helps people navigate life-changing harm through the civil justice system. His practice focuses on wrongful death, civil rights, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, and business cases.

Cooper has worked at Cooper Elliott since 2014. He previously served as a Law Clerk at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit from 2013 to 2014 and as an Associate at Hogan Lovells from 2011 to 2013.

He has been selected as a Rising Star by Ohio Super Lawyers in 2018 and 2019 and received the Top 40 Under 40 award from The National Trial Lawyers in 2018.

He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2011 and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Bioethics from the University of Virginia in 2008. He is admitted to the Ohio Bar.
