Sonia Rodriguez

Sonia Rodriguez is an attorney at Law Giant Injury Lawyers with nearly 20 years of experience representing plaintiffs in personal injury trial and appellate law.

Rodriguez earned her Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law in 1999 and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Texas in 1995. She is admitted to the State Bar of Texas, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western, Southern, and Northern Districts of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

In 2004, Rodriguez became the first Mexican American woman to obtain a verdict in excess of $2 million in Val Verde County, Texas. She is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, the Bexar County Women's Bar Association, the San Antonio Bar Association, the Mexican American Bar Association, and the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys.

Her honors include Texas Rising Star (2005, 2006), induction into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame (2009), Distinguished Young Alumna of St. Mary's University School of Law (2010), the Reich Chandler Outstanding Advocate Award from the Texas Trial Lawyers Association (2015), and Top Personal Injury Plaintiff Lawyer recognition (2019, 2020). She serves as an advisor to the Young Women's Leadership Academy and on the boards of the SAISD Foundation and SA2020, Inc.
