Ralph Lopez

Ralph Lopez is a Board-Certified Personal Injury Trial Lawyer with forty-two years of experience who has been with Davis Law Firm since 2018. Born and raised in San Antonio on the south side, Ralph has resolved over 10,000 cases over his career with some cases worth tens of millions of dollars. In 2024, he was co-lead counsel in a wrongful death case that secured a verdict and judgment in excess of $210,000,000, the largest verdict of its kind in Bexar County history.

He holds dual board certifications in Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, renewed continuously since 1993. He is a member of ABOTA (since 2015), the American Inns of Court (Master of the Bench, since 1994), and was the first recipient of the Henry B. Gonzalez Award for Unselfish Fight for Justice and Equality from the Hispanic Law Student Association at St. Mary's School of Law. He earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 1983 and his B.A. Magna Cum Laude from St. Mary's University in 1980.
