Sidney Lewellen

Sidney Lewellen is an Associate Attorney at Craig, Kelley & Faultless LLC in Indianapolis, working primarily on discovery matters, legal research, and drafting legal briefs in personal injury cases. She joined the firm in 2023.

Lewellen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy summa cum laude from Ball State University and her Juris Doctor from Indiana University McKinney School of Law, graduating second in her class. During law school, she was inducted into the Order of the Barristers (2021 Staton Intramural Moot Court Competition) and received the Eleanor D. Kinney Award for Dedicated Service (2022) from the Indiana Health Law Review. She also contributed more than 60 hours of pro bono work at the Center for Victim and Human Rights, served as an IU Pathway to Law mentor, and volunteered as a moot court judge.

A native of Columbia City, Indiana, she is admitted to the Indiana Bar and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, and is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association.

Her recognitions include Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America (2026) and the Super Lawyers Rising Star designation (2025). She has authored "An Argument for Multi-District Climate Litigation" (Indiana Health Law Review, 2023) and "The Value of Withholding Forgiveness" (compos mentis: Undergraduate Journal of Cognition and Neuroethics, 2019).
