A native Mobilian, Amanda Herren began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney with the Mobile County District Attorney's Office. As a prosecutor, Amanda was an aggressive advocate for the victims of violent crime and their families, ensuring that their voices were heard in the pursuit of justice. She approached her job as a prosecutor with compassion for victims and an unwavering dedication to both the evidence and the law. Amanda is the Public Service Committee Chairman for the Mobile Bar Association and is a past president of the Mobile Young Lawyers. Amanda earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Harding University and her Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law. While at Cumberland, she was a member of its National Trial Team, an editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, and served as Assistant Director of the Trial Board.
