About Mike Bomberger

Mike Bomberger co-founded Estey & Bomberger, LLP in 1994 alongside Steve Estey, his friend from California Western School of Law. He focuses on catastrophic injury cases, with specialty areas in brain injuries and bicycle accident litigation. His personal background as an avid cyclist informs his advocacy on behalf of injured bicyclists, including cases other attorneys considered unwinnable. He served on the advisory council for the San Diego Brain Injury Foundation.

In recent years he has acted as co-counsel on cases resulting in jury verdicts of $30 million, $23 million, and $10.8 million. He also secured a $21 million settlement for numerous victims injured by an orthopedic device after five years of litigation. Before law school, Bomberger was a nationally ranked Division I wrestler and captain of the wrestling team at Bucknell University. Outside the office he coaches youth sports and supports organizations including Rady Children's Chadwick Center, Father Joe's Village, the Red Cross, and the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
