About Samuel Maroon

Samuel Allen 'Sam' Maroon is a Litigation Attorney at Farah & Farah's Jacksonville, Florida office, where he represents plaintiffs in personal injury matters including motor vehicle, premises liability, slip-and-fall, and product liability cases. Senior partner Chuck Farah describes him as one of the firm's most experienced litigators, called upon when the cards are stacked against the firm's clients.

Maroon served as a U.S. Navy helicopter pilot before law school, with deployments during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm and hurricane relief missions. He spent the first half of his legal career on the defense side at firms including Akerman LLP, Luks Santaniello, and as in-house counsel at Nationwide Insurance Company before transitioning to plaintiffs' representation at Farah & Farah.

Maroon earned his B.A. in General Studies from Columbia College and his J.D. from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law. He is admitted to The Florida Bar (#174270), the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of the Florida Justice Association.
