About Michael Hergenroether

Michael R. Hergenroether began his legal career as a file clerk at a civil litigation firm while attending San Diego State University, developing an early interest in using the law to help people in need. After graduating from California Western School of Law in 2009, he returned to Fresno and spent twelve years at Stammer McKnight Barnum and Bailey (2009-2021), a defense-side firm, where he litigated and tried cases involving automobile accidents, slip and fall claims, wrongful death, and dog bites throughout the San Joaquin Valley. After years of watching insurance companies prioritize their bottom line over injured individuals, he transitioned to plaintiff's work and joined Fowler Helsel Vogt in September 2021. Mr. Hergenroether focuses on understanding each client's injuries and communicating their story effectively to a jury.
