Brennan Heuser

Brennan D. Heuser is a Partner and Attorney at Heuser & Heuser LLP in Colorado Springs, Colorado. His background uniquely blends military, diplomatic, and legal expertise.

Heuser previously worked as a research analyst at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies focusing on counterterrorism, and served with the U.S. Army's Psychological Operations unit under Special Operations Command, including deployments to Pakistan and Afghanistan. Following military service, he contributed to the U.S. Department of State, including work with the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, where he authored the 2013 and 2014 Annual Reports to Congress. He played a direct role in the 2021 Afghanistan evacuation.

He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, a Master of Arts in National Security Affairs (Political Warfare) from the Institute of World Politics in Washington, D.C., and his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, with coursework at London School of Economics and Political Science.

He is admitted to the Colorado Bar and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, including its Military and Veterans Affairs Section.

He has professional proficiency in Farsi and Dari, with Arabic language training from the Middle East Institute. He holds a Combat Action Badge and Airborne qualification.
