Shannon Colt

Shannon R. Colt is a Partner and Attorney at Heuser & Heuser, LLP in Colorado Springs.

Originally from Idaho, Colt relocated to Colorado Springs as a military spouse and began her legal career at the firm as an entry-level legal assistant. She advanced through multiple roles, progressing from legal assistant to paralegal before earning her law degree. She handles personal injury matters and workers' compensation cases.

Colt earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law while working full-time and raising two children. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from The College of Idaho, graduating Cum Laude.

She is admitted to the Colorado Bar and is a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, Colorado Women's Bar Association, and Workers' Compensation Education Association.
